Gameplay does not contact our server
The covered app has no account, login, ads, behavioral tracking, analytics or third-party SDK for collecting gameplay data. The game surface blocks external network requests. The app does not automatically send your progress, name, device data or gameplay videos to us or a third-party server. We receive information about an iPhone player only if they choose to email support. The separate Android tester forms are described below. App Store downloads, updates and any aggregated information Apple makes available to developers are handled under Apple's own services and privacy terms.
Scope
This English page covers Bunbun Densetsu for iPhone, versions 1.0.0–1.0.3, and this support website. The browser game is a separate service. Its login and records are not part of the iPhone app. If you import a browser-game record file, the iPhone app reads it locally; it does not change your browser-game account or send the file contents to us.
Information kept on your device
The app stores the following in its own local storage so you can resume the game, keep settings and check that a saved record is intact. We do not receive this data:
- Progress, such as total inputs, in-game money and fuel.
- Selected bike, sound, control method and other settings.
- A reference position for tilt controls, if you choose and calibrate tilt.
- An optional player name of up to 16 characters entered under 記録を守る (Protect your record).
- An installation identifier and a hash used to check saved data. The hash detects changes; it is not proof of identity.
The app also stores one installation identifier in iOS Keychain. It is not a password or login credential and is used only by this app.
Device features
- Motion sensors: tilt values are processed on the device when you select tilt controls. Only the calibrated reference position is stored.
- Haptics: the device may vibrate in response to controls; no haptic data is saved.
- Files: backup import and export use only the files and locations you select through the iOS picker.
- Photos: if you choose Save to Photos in version 1.0.1 or later, iOS may ask for add-only access. The app does not read existing photos or videos.
- Sharing: if you choose Save or share elsewhere in version 1.0.1 or later, the app passes the created gameplay video to the iOS share sheet.
The app does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or notifications.
Gameplay video and sharing
Only when you tap 録画 (Record), the app creates a video of up to 60 seconds on the device from the game image and game-generated audio. It does not capture the camera, microphone, iPhone screen, other apps or your photo library.
A video being created or awaiting your decision is held temporarily in the app's own storage. It is never sent automatically to our server. If you choose Photos or a destination through the iOS share sheet, that destination then handles the copy under its own terms and privacy policy. The app deletes its temporary video when you discard it, make another video, or next launch the app. You manage copies saved outside the app.
Backup files
A backup exported from 記録を守る contains your optional name, progress, supported settings, creation time and app build number. Tilt calibration is excluded. The JSON file is readable and not encrypted. A hash helps detect damage but does not authenticate the owner.
You select where to save the file, such as On My iPhone or iCloud Drive. If you choose a cloud provider, that provider stores the file under its own terms and privacy policy. Anyone you give the file to can read its name and progress and import it into their own app. You are responsible for copies stored outside the app. Before replacing a record through import, the app asks you to save and verify a copy of the current record. Imported values replace the current values; they are not added together.
Deletion and retention
- Deleting the app removes progress, settings, name, record-check data and temporary videos in the app's storage. Reinstalling does not restore them.
- The iOS Keychain installation identifier may remain after app deletion. Choosing 新しく始める (Start fresh) after reinstalling removes that identifier. It does not contain progress or personal details.
- Backup files and videos you saved to Files, Photos, social apps or other destinations remain there until you remove them from those destinations.
- If a record appears after a device transfer, the app checks it and may pause startup to protect an incomplete record.
This support website
This site has no ads, analytics scripts or input forms. It is delivered by Cloudflare Pages, so requests send the network information needed to display a page, such as an IP address, to Cloudflare. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
Separate Android tester forms
The Japanese Android tester page links to external Google Forms. Participation is optional. The application form collects the verified Google account email address needed for Google Play tester enrollment. The problem report form does not collect email addresses; it asks for the device model, Android and app versions, symptoms, optional details and audio output. Responses are stored in Google Forms and Google Sheets, and enrollment emails are added to the Google Play Console tester list. We use them for enrollment and testing support, not advertising, and delete them when no longer needed. You can contact support about your information. The optional LINE OpenChat handles shared information under its own service terms. Do not post Google account details, passwords or verification codes in chats. See the full Japanese Android test privacy notice and Google’s Privacy Policy.

We keep support information for as long as needed to respond, review the record or meet legal retention requirements, and delete it when those needs end. Contact us if you sent information by mistake or wish to request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and will handle requests under applicable law. You may also use this address to request legally required information about the operator.
